About Me

My days are spent in the studio, the greenhouse and the gardens.

I’m Kris of KRISanthemums a flower design studio.
I was raised in Western Washington, on to WSU, married, moved to beautiful Eastern Oregon and now we are enjoying 6 wonderful grandchildren.
As a current board member of the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce I enjoy being a part of our local community.

The studio is literally 60 feet from my home and that gives me the ability to be flexible, to focus on flowers and to work hard at providing exceptional customer service.

Located at Bennett Botanical Gardens, this is where I find inspiration in the seasons.

My story began with wedding bouquets back in 2000 and since then I’ve provided hundreds of weddings with gorgeous flowers.

With over 18 years of education, experience and continuing education I can help you to navigate the world of simple, stylish flowers. The studio has a great support staff that works hard to make each flower event one-of-a-kind.

Our flowers have been featured in full pages in Oregon Bride Magazine, Florist Review Magazine, Flirty Fleurs blog and many other print and social media sites.

I love dark chocolate, the color green, fall temperatures and vacations with all the family together.

Continuing my education with hands on master classes.

Each time I learn something new, innovative or challenging I enjoy bringing that home to build on my previous skills.

This is Bugz …we love her.

This is my husband of almost 40 years, Doug. He is a great support staff, listener of ideas, barn wood maker, heavy lifter and ladder climbing guy. Thank you for all you do and inspire me to accomplish.
